Philosophy
Our programs were developed to meet the changing needs of the child and their families. Special emphasis is placed on socialization, a positive self-concept, and a good first experience in a school setting.
We believe that each person is a special and unique treasure created by God.
We believe that each child possesses gifts and talents uniquely their own.
We believe that each child deserves respect and dignity that enhances their self esteem.
We believe that it is important to work with the parents, recognizing that they are the primary educators of the child.
We believe that the development of the whole child-spiritually, emotionally, socially, intellectually, and physically-in a Christ –centered environment is important.
OUR GOALS ARE:
To help the child reach his/her potential through developmentally appropriate play oriented activities.
To help the child obtain confidence in himself/herself outside the security of their home environment.
To provide a carefully planned curriculum based on the State of Ohio pre-school standards which will aid each child in achieving full potential at his/her own learning rate.
To give each child a positive first school experience which will serve as a bridge from home to Kindergarten. |
