FERBER A FALCON!

St. Mary Central Catholic High School standout cross country runner Brian Ferber will be joing the BGSU Falcons next season.  Bowling Green State University head men's cross country coach, Cami Wells announced the addition of three student-athletes for the 2010 season.  Ferber will join Greg Black and Perry Fraylick as the Falcons' top recruits.

Brian is a four-year letter winner in cross country and track, and earned two letters in basketball. The team captain added All-Ohio honors in 2008-09 (finished 24th at the D-III Ohio State Cross Country Meet and 17th as a junior), was his conference’s Most Outstanding Performer and was the Northwest District Runner-Up as a senior. He is the son of Gary and Julie Ferber, and his brother Steve ran cross country at Bowling Green. Ferber was coached by Ron Leach and plans to major in special education.

“I am extremely pleased to have Greg, Brian and Perry joining the program,” said Wells. “All three young men are dedicated student athletes with the ability and work ethic to step in and be contributors to the team in all areas.”  For the complete story click here.
